Job description:
Summary: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL and jQuery. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing robust, scalable code and will work effectively independently and as part of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
Debug and resolve technical issues on time.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
Utilize SQL for database design, querying, and management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Java: Proficiency in Java programming.
Spring Framework: Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
Hibernate: Knowledge of Hibernate ORM for database interactions.
SQL: Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
jQuery: Proficiency in jQuery for front-end development.
Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems, particularly SVN.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good To Have:
Understanding of Agile software development practices.
It is good to have Perl scripting knowledge to write and maintain Perl scripts for some automation tasks.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
