Job description:
" Strong Hands-on experience in Mainframe -Cobol.
Should have a working experience in VSAM, JCL, DB2, CICS
Should have a working experience in C
Knowledge of File aid, Xpeditor, Endevor and CA7.
Experienced in Agile methodology
Interact with Onshore peers and Business Leads to understand the project requirements
Integration Testing on the components being worked
Dedicated and takes ownership of the tasks being assigned
Should attend any calls related to the project and engage with the team, Creative approach to solve problems using
professional knowledge, where situations are complex and unique, and information is limited.
Proactive, takes action and anticipates opportunities.
Analytical in approach to acquire knowledge and information."
- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
- To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
- To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
- To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
